We tell the story of how the Staples family came to set up home here and how their fortunes faired through good times and bad. You will be introduced to key players in a fascinating story which ranges over 400 years and find out about some of the larger than life characters who called this place home.

Our experienced guides are very well informed and entertaining but there are also interactive exhibits which add an extra dimension to the tour experience . Living History is a fun feature of tours on special event days.
